La Befana came!
La Befana came last night while we were sleeping. She left us all candy in our stockings. This was one of my due dates (some calculations said Jan. 6, others said Jan. 7) last year, and I was truly glad when the day came and went and Dylan was not born on a children's holiday featuring an old witch. His birthday may have been overshadowed by the stockings and candy. And the ugly hag.
Another surprise this morning...And to think that just a few days ago, we were in short sleeves on the deck of the boat as we sailed near sunny Africa!

I can't believe how much he's grown! He's a little boy now! ADORABLE.
Glad you had fun; sorry about the fam falling ill. And the snow upon your return. It's 60 here. Lovin, lovin, lovin.
Thanks. I saw Josie taking her Exersaucer for a spin. Love the Mary Jane socks!
Overall the trip was really good. The last two days were a bit of a bummer but was not too bad being waited on hand and foot (did not have to cook or clean or do anything as the Balinese "steward" was always outside the door bowing and awaiting orders) and knowing we had a modern ship medical center at our disposal 24/7 (nice nurses, good doctors, gorgeous waiting room with multiple flat screen TVs - light years from what we have here) should we need it. In Milan, on the other hand, I still have not been able to get Dylan's pediatrician on the phone so...
