Cabin fever

So, we are still on our cruise (we roll into the port of Genoa on Monday morning at 9 a.m.) and we have been having a good time. That is up until my two cabin mates got sick last night. Dylan has pharyngitis and Cristiano has tonsillitis. I know this because we went to the ship medical center this morning, and they both got antibiotics. I've been playing nurse, dispensing pain relievers and passing the Kleenex. No day trip to Rome for us tomorrow. We will be staying on board. It's a pity too because tomorrow looks to be a beautiful day and we were a bit unlucky with the weather during the other excursions. It poured in Barcelona, it rained off and on in Lisbon and it rained for half of our time in Malaga. In every place we went to people told us "Yesterday it was sunny and 80!" It has been pretty warm everywhere though - to the point that the Germans and British swim in the outdoor pools on the ship. The Italians, of course, are fearful of catching a draft and only swim in the indoor pools. I hope Dylan's fever breaks soon (has been hovering at around 101.5 all day though I've been giving him Baby Tylenol every four hours) and that neither illness attacks me. Oh well. At least we are having some nice family bonding cozy cozy in our cabin!
