Walking Dylan

I finally got a new memory card for my camera so that I can once again take videos. Here's a snippet of Dylan walking. Up to now, he hasn't been a huge fan of walking but over the last few days, he's been more inspired.

In other news, he's saying lots of new words and even knows his "name." He calls himself "D" and he points to the big letter "D" that we have on his wall and all of the Ds he sees on his toys. He now says "down" when he wants to get out of his high chair or out of his bed. He also says "cat," "cow" and "car" but they all sound like the same word. Though, depending on the context, you can understand what he is referring to. He tries to sing along with the songs from his play group and he knows the hand motions. His language development can't keep up with all of the things he wants to say, however, and he gets frustrated.

Overall, he's really fun and a joy!
