What is it about dudes and blocks? I bought this tub of wood blocks at the supermarket thinking it'd be a good classic toy to keep Dylan in one place. How silly of me. If he's not hiding one of the blocks somewhere (I've found them in his crib, under the TV and many other places), he's rolling the tub or the lid along and crawling after it. Dylan and Cristiano have hours of fun with the blocks. Cristiano tries to build the tallest tower possible and then loves watching Dylan destroy it. Huh? Before going to bed at night, Cristiano builds a new fantastical creation and then first thing in the morning, we "unleash" Dylan and he heads straight toward it and destroys it with glee. All in good fun, I guess. This weekend in the mountains, the menfolk stayed up late drinking grappa and seeing who could build the tallest block tower. You can see fun with blocks in the mountains on my Flickr. The first picture in the series is
here and you have to click ahead at right for more. Can you see a group of women doing that?
In other mamma news, I'm thinking I need a quick-and-easy mom haircut. But not a
mom haircut, if you know what I mean. I was thinking about a long-ish bob though I fear my face is too fat. How would I look hanging out the laundry or changing dirty diapers Victoria-Beckham style?

would you get the VB shoes too? ha h aha. I'll bet she has a clothes dryer as well....
In my experience, short trendy haircuts just need MORE time and attention than longer hair. PLus, you can't shove it up to keep it out of your way or if it looks bad when it is short.
Blocks must be a boy thing. S is hardly interested in hers at all (coincidentally neither is her dad!). Vanessa
