Being Dylan

Long time no post. I've had quite a bit of work lately and as part of my New Year's resolutions, I want to make better use of my time. Unfortunately blogging is not part of "using my time wisely," though if I could just learn to be less wordy and have more photo posts then perhaps I would blog more. Here are a few photos showing what's happening lately.

Ever since Luana got a puppy (named "Happy") Dylan wants to go over there every single day. Last night he ate dinner there and passed out while they were watching TV. We let him just sleep there (six hours of uninterrupted sleep for mommy - woo hoo!). Luana posted this to her Facebook so we could see him. Aww.

Every Monday I take Dylan school with a suitcase full of stuff (sheets, towels, bibs, his personalized cup, extra clothes and underwear in case he gets dirty, any library books to return, etc.). It's like he's moving into the dorms. Then on Fridays I bring everything home to wash so they can sterilize the place over the weekend. Now on his cot he's got the Lightning McQueen cover that Uncle Rob gave him for Christmas!

I was so tired of seeing coats, hats and scarves draped over our kitchen chairs that I bought a wall-mounted coat rack for everyone. Nothing says pick up your crap or else love like a wall-mounted coat rack! I got Dylan this one from IKEA. The best 4 Euros I've ever spent!
